Penn Vet is the only veterinary school in the U.S. to have grown out of a medical school, and the shared history has led to exceptionally productive collaboration and research – pioneering the development of veterinary clinical investigation, comparative medicine and new fields ranging from stem cell research to animal/human interactions.
